Who They Are

Powow is a different way to sell solar battery energy solutions to homeowners. Rather than a partner sourcing product, finance, sales training, technology and support separately, Powow packages all of it. At the heart of the offer sit a power purchase agreement, a virtual power plant and products that are ready to install.

Three kinds of partner suit the model: businesses that sell and install solar themselves, businesses that sell solar and subcontract the installs, and electricity retailers. Territories are mapped across south-eastern Australia, and Powow also produces a podcast series for the solar industry.

The Brief

What We Set Out To Do

This is a recruitment site rather than a consumer one. The reader is a solar business or a retailer, and the page has to persuade them to partner with Powow, explain each part of the offer, and get them to claim a territory before a competitor does.

At the top, a short pitch and a Secure Your Territory button. Three product cards follow for the PPA, the Virtual Power Plant and VPP-ready products, then alternating sections take the reader through installation support, the customer app, training videos and the management platform. Next come a Rethinking Solar podcast card and a proof band carrying headline figures and media logos. Cards for the three partner types, the territory map and a three-step getting started sequence lead to the closing Claim your territory call, with Enquire Now buttons repeated down the page.
